We might have different requirement to compare two folders
and find the difference, I think this tool will help you to do that. If we have
few files it’s easy to do manually, if we have hundreds of files in folders which
you wanted to compare it would be a tough task.
Eg. If you have different
deployment/version, then you can compare and find the difference between those
and it will help you to know that some additional /different version files in your
new deployment.
Folder Synch Tool:

You can compare two folders (source and
destination)

Comparison you can have more conditions like
created date, modified date, .NET assembly version, Size …

You can restrict the file extension if you want

You will a comparison screen which is only in
source, only in destination, both and difference in the filter.

You can synch with the two folders – synch to
source and synch to destination.

Also you will get the details of each file in
file details pane.
